Lutheran Social Services of Nevada Lutheran Social Services of Nevada (LSSN) began serving the Las Vegas community in 1985. For the first eleven years, the social ministry operated only a food pantry and clothing closet. Then, in December 1996, the agency earned its 501(c)(3) status and expanded services to include supportive services for senior citizens, youth, and low-income families. Seeking to be true to the Gospel's social mandate, LSSN is guided by its Mission Statement: To express the love of Christ by serving and caring for people in need.
Las Vegas Urban League Established in 2003, the mission of the Las Vegas Urban League is to empower communities and ensure equal opportunity for low-income people throughout Clark County. We accomplish our mission by providing economic, social, and environmental solutions that lead to self-sufficiency. Today the League's work is focused in three primary areas: education, economic development and community empowerment.

East Valley Family Services East Valley Family Services is a non-profit 501©3 organization that provides support for families in need. We service the Las Vegas valley through a variety of programs targeted to families, children, and seniors.
Three Square Regional Food Bank Three Square is Southern Nevada’s only food bank providing food assistance to the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark Counties. The food bank serves as a central collection and distribution center for donated, rescued and solicited food and grocery product. We provide bakery, produce, dairy, non-perishable products and ready-to-eat meals to non-profit and faith based organizations who serve those in need in our community. We also facilitate childhood and senior nutrition programs as well as supplemental nutrition assistance outreach and advocacy efforts. We are a place for members of the community to meet, serve and collaborate as part of the food solution.
Clark County, Nevada Clark County is a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to providing top-quality service with integrity, respect and accountability. With jurisdiction over the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and covering an area the size of New Jersey, Clark is the nation’s 14th-largest county and provides extensive regional services to more than 2 million citizens and 42 million visitors a year. Included are the nation’s 8th-busiest airport, air quality compliance, social services and the state’s largest public hospital, University Medical Center. The County also provides municipal services that are traditionally provided by cities to almost 900,000 residents in the unincorporated area. Those include fire protection, roads and other public works, parks and recreation, and planning and development.
SHARE - Las Vegas Humanistic Charity SHARE is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1994 by business executives dedicated to providing affordable housing for individuals in need. During its nearly 20 year history, the organization has served hundreds of families, seniors, veterans and those with physical challenges or terminal illnesses.
The Medical Reserve Corps of Southern Nevada is supported by the Southern Nevada Health District and facilitates the maximum use of healthcare professional volunteers and others. The MRC serves an integral role in the health district's mass prophylaxis plans and assists with immunization clinics, education, and outbreak support. Volunteers are categorized as Medical, Medical Support, Veterinary and Support. Training specific to staffing Points of Distribution is offered along with professional education opportunities, may that offer CEs.
